This photo is related with steaming Dhikri. Dhikri is steamed with wasp. Dhikri is one of the special foods, which is made by Tharu community. Dhikri is made by rice and wheat flour. Round type Dhikri is made on Dashain festival, flat is on Tihar and long is made on Magh.

There is system to make five types of Dhikri on the Dashin festival to worship the God. Like wise round, Bwajha, chhittar, Pauwa and Latthi Dhikri also made. Dhikri is used to eat as a breakfast and tea breakfast. It is very tasteful for eating. Child and elder people like it very much. Child and elder people became happy to get Dhikri for eating. Dhikri is also provided as gift while married daughter send to her husband's house.

This is Bhankari with Janr. Especially it is used for keeping janr (a type of semi-processed wine made up of foodgrains). It is tasty like beer. If it is kept long time inside the bhankri it turns into the liquid. It is called Jhwar. Its taste is sweet and sorrow. It is like soft drink but its taste is fantastic. Andik jhwar is made by Andi paddy especially to be used in Magh festival.
