Nepalgunj Media Center has established by taking the objective of help to consciousness for community and phase out their problems and solve in international level through out the communication and media. And its main aim is to make consciousness the community member who are suffering by many conditions and problems and make them capable own self to increase their voice for right through the information technology.

Objectives

1. To help the ethnic and backward community groups by preparing audio and video programmes.

2. To make capable Tharu and backward community to access modern information technology.

3. Protection and promotion of Tharu language and culture through media.

Nepalgunj Media Center is an organization to produce audio programme for backward class, community and ethnic groups. Radio has become a common medium to broadcast the information to remote villagers. Nepalgunj Media Center is doing to broadcast the right information to all villagers by collecting and searching at the village level through the radio porgramme.

Nepalgunj Media Center has established in 2002 and registered in Nepal government Department of Small and Cottage Industry. The organization is producing many different programmes in Nepali and Awadhi language. Kachahari-1 and Kachahari-2 are audio programmes of Nepalgunj Media Center in Nepali language. Similarly, Jagrity radio programme is also produced by the Center. And Khyala, Ankhwa, Hamar Saidan, Nisrau, Jutyahla of Tharu language programme are also prepared and now Hamar Geet Hamar Sanskriti, Lauwa Juni, Kacherhi radio programme are also produced by radio programme and these programme are broadcasting by Radio Bageshwari F.M. Gyanay Shakti Hoy, Jeevan Ker Jimmewari and Chaupal programme of Awadhi language are also prepared by the Media Center.

Nepalgunj Media Center has done co-work with PANOS South Asia, MS Nepal, Action Aid Nepal, Communication Corner, BASE, FNC, Nepal Family Health Programme. The Media Center has produced more than 500 radio programmes, more than 200 radio dramas and different spot, jingle, social information.
